I'm unconvinced that either fit is ideal, but I'm a little higher on the Westbrook/Beal pairing. Westbrook is a good passer and creator who should help create some open shots for Beal. Wall at least is a slightly better three-point shooter than Westbrook, which should help the Rockets a little.

Should I give up on the bulls ever being good again?

Don't lose hope yet. The new front office was in a tough position this offseason since so many of their players were under contract beyond this season and weren't really put in the best position to succeed under Jim Boylen. It makes sense to bring most of them back and evaluate them under Donovan before doing anything too drastic. I expect bounce-back years from guys like Markkanen and Carter if they're healthy.

Which pending free agent do you think can make themselves the most money this season with a big year? Who has the most to lose?

Great question. I think RFAs-to-be are more prone to significant swings one way or the other than veteran UFAs who have already sort of established who they are as pros. If they don't sign extensions this month, guys like John Collins, Lauri Markkanen, Zach Collins, Jarrett Allen, Kyle Kuzma, OG Anunoby, Lonzo Ball, and Markelle Fultz will have big contract years ahead of them. With strong seasons, they could increase the values of their next contract by tens of millions.

Duncan Robinson is another one. If he continues to shoot the lights out with slightly increased usage, he could be looking at a massive payday (his agents will probably point to Davis Bertans' new deal as a comparable). If he falls off at all, teams may be nervous about how real his 2019/20 performance was.

Which teams do you think did well in the draft
Luke Adams
11:45
Loved the Kings' pick of Haliburton at No. 12. Denver getting Nnaji and Hampton in the first round was nice. Detroit and Dallas had good nights too. And while I haven't seen Deni Avdija play much, he's a nice positional fit for the Wizards and was viewed as a top-five pick, so getting him at No. 9 looks good.

What teams could become dark horse trade destinations for Harden?
Luke Adams
11:49
The Sixers look like such an obvious fit to me if they're willing to give up Ben Simmons that it's hard to find other teams that would work as well. Here's one I can't actually see happening, but could make at least SOME sense: Sacramento. Their GM, Monte McNair, just came from the Rockets' front office, and De'Aaron Fox is the kind of up-and-coming star that Houston want in return for Harden.
11:50
The problem with the Kings or another team like Sacramento making that kind of deal is that you'd be mortgaging your future for a guy who you know wants to play somewhere else. That's not a deal most teams will be eager to make.
Dewayne dedmon
11:50
Why haven't I signed anywhere yet?
Luke Adams
11:51
Dedmon is one a few interesting free agents still on the board. I'm surprised Shabazz Napier, Ersan Ilyasova, Kyle Korver, and a few other guys haven't found homes yet either. Dedmon should sign before the season starts though -- we're only a year removed from him drawing serious interest from a bunch of teams in free agency. His 2019/20 season wasn't great, but at the vet's minimum, he'd be a solid 2nd or 3rd center.

How much has it changed draft strategy/prep to see so many international players coming to play US college hoops?
Luke Adams
11:54
Honestly, since I'm so zeroed in on the NBA rather than international or college hoops, I don't spent a ton of time watching film or doing homework on most prospects until they're about to enter the NBA. So, for me -- it hasn't changed much!

Just for fun, give us your all-time lineup. Not just best 5 players, but the lineup you want out there in game 7!
Luke Adams
11:56
This question requires way more time than I'm going to give it. As soon as I name my five, I'm going to second-guess it.
But let's start with Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
11:57
And then I'll say... Magic Johnson at the point. Tim Duncan in the middle. And Kevin Durant for shooting and some extra rim protection.
11:58
(Yep, already second-guessing.)
Thanks for all the questions, guys. We fully cleared out the queue! We'll do this again at some point. In the meantime, enjoy the start of the 2020/21 NBA season!
