Cleveland question, will fans show up in 2017 to support a very good team after a big free agent signing? I don't mean this to be mean, but I live in Columbus and don't understand why the Cavs have big turnouts but Indians don't when the two venues are directly across from each other. If Cleveland fans don't show up this year, is there something like fundamentally or systemically wrong with the team/GM/marketing/fanbase? I'm not trying to be mean, but it seems like maybe a rebranding might be for the best for reasons other than political correctness

If the Indians' attendance isn't up this year, that's really a problem. (I believe season ticket sales are up significantly). I do think there has been a perception issue tied to past payroll spending. But EE signing helps there and the whole WS appearance so .... Show up, Cleveland
