Does a stat evaluating how a batter performs against above-average pitchers exist?  This would maybe for playoff-contending teams looking for batting help when the time comes where there are only above-average pitchers like the postseason?

This is sort of random, but I've been thinking - what do you think is the next big quantifiable measurement/stat that will eventually be held in the regard of WAR/wRC+/FIP/etc.  Do you think it'll be an advancement on those pre-existing numbers or do you think there will be a way to quantify something we currently don't have access to (i.e. maybe something along the lines of measuring peak performance or something). Apologies if I made zero sense.

Good question. Maybe something on the defensive side of things ... We could use a unifying metric that accounted for Statcast data, positioning, defensive efficiency
