I remember Smoltz and Ron Darling being in the same both one playoffs.  And someone, somewhere decided that Smoltz was the guy to promote.  Hopefully that person is required to listen to Smoltz' commentary as long as the universe exists.

I've never tried alfalfa! I usually use buckwheat (as opposed to wildflower) when I want the honey flavor to shine a little more through in a baked good. Please feel free to drop some knowledge if you've got it.

When you get past 80 you can no longer do too much so rather than watch, listen and chat, I just watch and chat. I should know the game well enough by now to not need announcers to tell me what I am watching (and I can avoid John Smoltz) (chuckle)

What is the relationship between spin and velocity for a fastball? Are higher velocity fastballs better at producing spin? Would a really high spin, lower velocity fastball be better than a lower spin, high velocity fastball?
