What did yous guys think of the complaints about US pitching? With a lineup so stacked and the mentality here that pitchers are running backs are little more than single use plastics - the makeup of the pitching staff makes sense for int’l play, no?

I like Kondoh’s swing. Easy/loose hands, good rhythm and timing. Bat path generally looks geared for loft, but can flatten or arc based on pitch location/count. Short levers help too but not hard to see why he’s a strong BB:K ratio guy.

DeRosa hasn't managed well, but not hitting Ohtani 2nd has been a mistake. Kondoh has hit with like 22 runners on the last two games and Ohtani only like 2. (all numbers estimated)
