You just changed my DAL to JAX!

I promise it wasn't me

It looks like Dallas just dropped a half point. This is an example of two picks that are very similar overall. I wouldn't stress about one versus the other. You can either go with the logic or go with the one you prefer, since they are very close and a subtle shift moved them relative to each other.

My 4 picks are, 3 Baltimore and 1 Kansas City. I'm thinking of going 2 Baltimore and 2 Kansas City. Thoughts?

I think this would be fine if you don't want to be as concentrated on Baltimore.
12:23
I am sure the two are graded very similar in most pools, with Baltimore a little higher in larger ones and those with different rules, and KC in smaller.

How can we see the pick grades for each team?
AvatarJason from PoolGenius

You click where it says "view updated pick rankings." look down below the top three images. The highest in a particular pool is set to 100 (even if that team is not available to you anymore"
12:26
a 1-2 point difference is minimal, we view those teams as similar. 3-5 is close but we see a clear preference. If the grades are more than 5 apart I would say that we see a clear strategic edge to the higher graded team over the others.
12:27
If you are in multiple pools, you will see those grades aren't always the same, depends on things like size and rules.

When the site updates picks and 2 picks pretty much exchanged places, with the the first 2 weeks having rhe same picks, what is the logic behind that?
AvatarJason from PoolGenius
12:29
yes, I know this can be frustrating. What's usually happening is that (a) it is grading each entry, so one of the entries might be considered "the best" of the two and (b) it is putting the best option on the higher graded entry. So if two teams flip from 1st to 2nd with each other, it might switch which entry it puts them on, even if you are still getting the same teams overall.

on the Q about picks changing places -- when some entries have used the same picks in the previous weeks, and the logic is giving the entries 2 different teams, it tends to put the higher rated team on the first entry listed. so if the ranks of teams switches, they might switch positions in the suggested picks, without actually changing the picks materially

i think they were specifically asking about a case where the entries are identical, so neither is graded higher
