are the Cubs trash?
Bryan Kauffman
10:32
NO
10:33
My response about college being hard was based on your effort now. Do you try now? Do you work hard now? These are skills that translate into the future.

Why is communism so terrible?  (cough cough, tyler, cough cough)
Bryan Kauffman
10:34
Communism is bad because it takes away people desires to work harder. Why would anyone work hard if everyone is given the same amount of resources?

what is the difference between a college and a university?
Bryan Kauffman
10:35
Nothing meaningful. A university has a higher amount of staff that have earned their doctorate degree, as opposed to just having a masters degree.

Does having an IB diploma matter to colleges?
Bryan Kauffman
10:36
Colleges want to see that you try. IB matters, sports matter, volunteering matters, grades matter, discipline matters...

Why does college cost so much?
Bryan Kauffman
10:37
Because it isn't subsidized (helped) by federal money

Why did you become a teacher?
Bryan Kauffman
10:38
Because I saw it as a practical profession, and a chance to make a difference

Bryan Kauffman
10:38

if we did new tech in high school, what effect would that have on college, if any?
Bryan Kauffman
10:39
Not sure. Like I said, colleges want to see that you try. I would think it would matter a lot. Here's the thing, you get to tell them why it matters. Has NT impacted you? I've seen a lot of good stuff in NT that I never saw in traditional teaching
