I was happy about the Shaw/Mcgee deals for the Rockies, but now reports say they're close to getting Holland too. Is this one step too far?

Shaw deal was fine, McGee isn't that good, and Holland probably a terrible idea.
And I have no idea why the Rockies still think they're a good bullpen away from greatness.

You seem to have a rather negative opinion of Dave Dombrowski.  Other than his signing of Price for market value, his trades have largely worked out well.  He's give up some highly regarded prospects but he got back elite talent on under market deals in return.   Personally I'm not sure his tenure will work out but his trade record is pretty damn good.
