One thing that will be interesting to track is whether Trouts defensive decline this year is real.  If it is and he's a corner guy it's way more realistic for someone to be his peer

Been thinking about this lately. Not so much the defensive decline specifically, since it's just 50+ games... But eventually someone's going to catch him, and it's probably a year-to-year thing at this point.
