The problem w/ Roberts' bullpen management on these games is the extremely quick hook for guys that are on.

The inherent issue w/ bullpenning is that you might bring out a guy that is a great matchup on paper, but their stuff might be lacking.

Obviously there are limits to this, but I do wish Wood gets another couple of innings.

Nothing, just pessimism and trying to maintain some calm. I think it's worth at least understanding what the downside can be. Doesn't mean he can't take the Alvarez path (well hopefully not the 2020 Alvarez, but I get your point)
