@Hi STRESSED - hope you're ok??
STRESSED

hi! Long time no see!

Hi all. Good to be back!
When applying for Access to Leeds does the form need to be sent off after your UCAS application has been submitted or can you send it off beforehand.
Becca

Hi @Becca. You should send your A2L form after your UCAS is submitted. We won't be able to process it if you send it before!
Mussy
4:02
when will we get the revised offer?
STRESSED
4:02
I have a question- I have sent off my UCAS on 11th October and have sent off my RFE A2L application and received confirm of my eligibility. Does this mean I have a confirmed place at Leeds?
Guest
4:02
Hi, where do we mention that we took part in rfe?
AvatarShauni
4:03
@STRESSED - well done! You shouldn't be stressed if you've got everything submitted! A2L doesn't guarantee you a confirmed place at Leeds, but now your UCAS and A2L form will be paired together so the admissions tutors can consider you with as much info as possible!
AvatarPaula
4:03
Hi @ Mussy. If you are made an offer, you will sometimes get both offers together, otherwise, the Access to Leeds offer if sometimes added a week or two after the standard offer.

Hi, so I have already sent off my ucas application and got an offer from Leeds Uni. But i haven't applied for access to leads yet so the offer is AAA instead of a reduced offer. If I apply to access to leeds now, it is possible for the offer to be reduced?
AvatarShauni
4:04
@STRESSED - how long this takes can depend from course to course. Keep an eye on your UCAS :)
AvatarJo
4:04
Hi @Guest, you can either complete the RFE form which has been sent out or the Access to Leeds form available on the website has a tickbox where you can confirm that you were part of RFE.
STRESSED
4:04
Oh okay. Do you know if the Geography department have began making offers? This is what stresses me haha
AvatarPaula
4:05
Hi @ Bamlak. Well done on getting an offer! If you complete and submit your Access to Leeds form now, your offer will be updated with an Access to Leeds offer of ABB in addition to the standard one.
AvatarShauni
4:05
@STRESSED I'm sure they're working on it, but again, it can take some time! You've submitted quite early so hopefully you'll hear back soon. We have our fingers crossed for you!
Mussy
4:06
do you solely base offers on predicted grades?
STRESSED
4:06
Also, really odd question- what time do the admissions department like stop working and stop reading applications and giving offers 😂
Majd
4:06
Do we recieve 2 offers from Leeds university after submitting A2L or is it only the reduced offer that we recieve?
AvatarJo
4:07
Hi @Majd, you would receive 2 offers, a standard offer and also an Access to Leeds reduced offer.
AvatarShauni
4:07
@STRESSED they usually work 9-5, Monday-Friday, but they might be teaching in that time too
4:08
@STRESSED they'll keep making offers until the course is full!
Guest
4:08
Hi, when do i submit the application?
hello
4:08
what should you write in the A2L application
AvatarPaula
4:08
Hi @ Mussy - predicted grades form a significant part of offer-making, but depending on the course, other factors will be taken into account including your GCSE grades and personal statement. A2L / RfE applicants can be considered equally if their predicted grades are lower than the standard requirements.
AvatarJo
4:08
Hi @Guest If you can submit your Access to Leeds application as soon as possible after your UCAS application that would be ideal!
Anisah
4:08
If the emailed rfe a2l form is completed does admission know we did rfe or do we have to mention it on the form
Becca
4:08
Thank you. Also if your from Wales, can you apply? I read online welsh students aren't eligible for the A2L bursary. If this is true could I still apply for the reduced entry offer?
AvatarShauni
4:09
@hello - the A2L application is your chance to tell admissions tutors about why you'd like to come to Leeds. You can mention things about RfE, specific events and subject tasters you've been on, the facilities...
AvatarJo
4:10
Hi @Anisah, yes the best form to use is the emailed RFE one as we can clearly see that you are part of RFE and process the application through much more quickly.
STRESSED
4:10
Will GCSE grade 4 maths be a barrier for me for BA Geography even if the entry requirements are this? They were revised from grade 6.
AvatarPaula
4:10
Hi @ Becca, if you are from Wales you can still apply and be eligible to receive a reduced offer. There isn't any financial bursary associated with Access to Leeds
Majd
4:10
What percentage does BMAT has when considering our applications alongside predicted grades and personal statement or any other factors
AH
4:11
Hi, I have applied through deferred entry, and have sent off my application so will be sending off a2l application soon. Do I reapply for A2L if I don’t make it this year?
AvatarShauni
4:11
@Majd to be honest, we don't know this and it can change from year to year and uni to uni. Essentially, you'll be considered on your application, grades and BMAT score as a whole before a decision is made on whether to invite you to interview!
Hassaan

Hi @ AH - yes you can reapply to A2L next year. As long as you complete and pass the module this time, you won't need to do it again and your pass can carry over to next year
