Hello

I'm here for the next 40 minutes or so to help with any questions on LBQ. Please make sure you write to me in standard English and not slang. :-)

hi I need some help on questions 26 27
Mr Gandhi
1:03
Okay - let me have a look..one moment..
Mr Gandhi
1:04
Which task are you on Lucas? 1, 2 or 3
1:06
For Q26 - Make sure you convert to one unit of measure first so they are the same - I would say cm then find the difference
1:07
The same with Q27 - convert both the length and width to cm and then multiply to find the area

Hello I just finished task 1
I found the last one tricky
Mr Gandhi
1:07
Did you manage to solve it though?
Natasha F
1:08
Yes with the help of my dad
Mr Gandhi
1:08
That's good! 2 house points to your Dad

mr gandi I went back to lbq then it asked me to do every thing again
Mr Gandhi

We haven't closed it down so if you put the exact same name when you log on it will bring up your previous answers
lucas
1:10
ok ill try that
Mr Gandhi
1:10
You logged on with your full name so try that again

I kept getting confused with weather to times or divide and how much to do it by
Mr Gandhi
1:12
Just remember that Kilometre is usually the smaller number and so if converting to metres the number becomes larger so you therefore multiply
Mr Gandhi
1:13
I always think about a ruler - 1cm is made up of 10 tiny lines which are mm so 1 --> 10 must mean we've multiplied
Similarly, think of a metre ruler - 1 metre ruler is made up of 100cm lines so again 1---> 100 is multiply and cm to m must be the opposite so divide

Thank you for the help
Mr Gandhi
1:18
No problem. Have you had a good week?
Mr Gandhi
1:18
It's been tiring even though we haven't been in school much

I accidentally pressed next on one of the questions in the writing task.I have posted my answer in the comment section. Also my mum has asked how do we get your feed back from the Peter Pan task?
Mr Gandhi
1:25
Hi Ollie - glad you're enjoying completing the tasks - I'll be reading through all of the blog posts again possibly today or tomorrow and commenting on each. The Peter Pan task comes to me through a Google Form so I can't provide you with feedback personally. Mr Jordan and I are looking at how we could change that for future reading tasks

My mum says thanks you for replying to her question. I have also tried to send my book blog a few times this week. I hope you have got it. Thank you for your help.
Mr Gandhi

Yes, our book blog page was being daft the other day. I've now put up a Padlet wall which makes it easier to post about what you are reading. You can find it at the top of our blog.

No problem. Hope you've had a good week.

Hi what are you up too I have just been outside whilst the sun is shining after all we do live in Britain and the sun doesn't come very often
Mr Gandhi
1:56
It's been very annoying having such lovely weather and being stuck inside or not at school
1:57
I've been into school to look after those who are still there and been busy setting your online tasks
Great to hear that you've been enjoying the sun!
Ellie
1:57
I know I am missing seeing everybody but hopefully we can all go back to school soon when all this is over
Mr Gandhi
