This might have already been asked, but you would only  have received the introductory email if you are enrolled in a session A course right?

Most courses should be both lecture and discussion based.

Hi. Will the courses be mainly lecture-based or will they involve live discussions/interactions?
Meg Palladino
10:58
Hi - you can check the website to see if your syllabus is posted.  If not, the course will be made live about a week before the course start date, and you can see what is required.

Hi, I'm Li! I'm enrolled in Session B, and I'm just wondering when would we receive more info on materials? Would that be included in the welcome letter, or is there some other place I should check?

Are all the teachers for each course from Yale?
Meg Palladino
10:56
Doing well in a Yale Summer Session course is not a guarantee to get into Yale, but it can certainly strengthen your application.

but will it be helpful for my admission In Yale?
Meg Palladino

Course times are in Eastern Daylight time.  Attendance is mandatory for the live sessions.  The course times are the times the course was going to be offered before we converted the courses to remote courses.

Sorry, I'm still confused about how they arrange the class time, since there is jet lag between different countries

a follow up question regarding my Masters. I have taken the course of International Human Rights for summer seminar. will that suffice?
Meg Palladino
10:51
I am not sure what course you are taking, but a Yale College course is great preparation for a Master's degree.

Yale is not currently considering offering online courses to visiting students during the academic year, but we do offer online courses for visiting students in the summer.
Anton Myachin
