Actually， I don't know clearly the schedule and the stops of that shuttle bus. I only was informed that there is a shuttle bus which goes to New Haven.

Check in is at Morse College, 70 Tower Parkway, or Payne Whitney Gym is also a major landmark and is across the street from the check in stop.

Formal attire is not required. There may be some final events, but there is no dress code.

What do students receive at the end of the session? Is it some sort of certificate?

This depends on what you're taking. If you're taking a course for Yale credit, you will not receive a certificate but you will have a Yale transcript. If you are taking one of our certificate programs for international students (business seminar, law seminar, etc.), you will receive a certificate.

Daisy - if you have uploaded a photo into the system, we should be able to give you your ID at check in.  If not, you will be able to get the ID after you arrive.

Hi Nicole. Yes, there will be a party at the end of your program. No, you do not need formal wear but many students bring one or two nice outfits. There will probably be a final project in your course.

The residence halls close at 9am on August 3rd, but otherwise it's up to you where you go. Just make sure that if you are here on a visa, that you comply with those regulations.

Is it a requirement/recommended to upload a resume when applying for summer classes?

There are a few instances where a resume is required such as for those students who have been out of college for 10 years or longer.

Will we know who are roommate is before the session starts?And what happens if there becomes a problem with the roommate? Like if they are very messy or loud at night.

No, you will not know your roommate until the session begins. If you have any troubles with your roommate, you can speak to your counselor or another member of the residential life staff.

Thanks.  My dorm fee is included meals and activities.  Do the activities  only  include activities on campus and about other activities like trip to Broadway needs some fee?

Nicole - many activities are free.  Some of the trips have a small cost.

Hi Amy. Typically, no. The assignments will be projects and presentations. But it is ultimately up to the faculty member.
