Higgy is an elite pitch framer, seriously, he's rated #1 by BP even though he's barely caught this year. Can we stop acting like Gary Sanchez is horrific though? This very website ranks him as an average catcher defensively. I feel like if he played for the Marlins or something people would be calling him a bounce back candidate for 2021.

Is it reasonable to think that there is a size that is simply to large to stay healthy playing a game as demanding as baseball. Judge and Stanton are great but they have a hard time staying on the field.

Have others noticed how unnecessarily laudatory the announcers have been this series? It's annoying, especially with weird statements about how Meadows has a strong arm (what?), Yandy is a solid defensive third baseman (nope), and that catch Judge made the other day where he took a bad route was one of the best plays you'll see this postseason.

Do you think Judge's age makes the Yankees unlikely to offer him a long-term extension?  They do, after all, have other young talent to consider extending (like Torres).  But they are also the Yankees and hence not exactly resource-constrained.

I think it probably shapes the type of extension he'd be offered. More likely to see a low-year, high-incentive structure
