Hi @Kelsey. You're definitely taking a bit of a risk if you do, but ABB isn't wildly over what you've been predicted. If you've got your heart set on it then you could make sure you work hard towards that goal. Make sure you have a back up somewhere though in case you don't exceed expectations... You could also ask your teachers what you need to do to improve your grade expectations.

Are there any courses that is similar to dentistry or medicine. I realised that those 2 courses are not what I want to do but I still want to do something that is similar. Particularly in Leeds University.

AvatarHaaroon

You can pick if you would like to share a bathroom or not. We have both options
AvatarMolly

Hey @SK - there are loads of different options like this! Are you booked on to the 'Applying STEM to Healthcare' session next week? That would be a good one to attend, and we run other events focussed on 'med/dentistry adjacent' type courses later in the year as well

Hi @guest. The short answer is excellent! The Edge Gym has amazing facilities for all kinds of sports and there are loads of clubs  too. Hope you're coming to the session during Feb HT, you'll be able to meet some of the staff then and ask more specific questions.  Gym memberships are discounted for students, yes.

thank you for this session, have a good day and drink some water :>
AvatarMolly

@Kelsey - for your first year this is a bit trickier, as you'd be expected to sort housing yourself if you're not living in uni owned halls, but there are loads of support/networking groups on social media that can be really useful! In second and third year the Union have lots of support available for finding a house
