Roger, A few months ago you’ve mentioned that PFE is one of the stocks you consider . What is your opinion on this stock now?  Thanks

Hi Mari. It's on the list for possible addition to CUI Plus/Dividends Premium next year--strong company with reliable earnings and a growing dividend in an essential industry. Obviously, the Trump Administration's hostility to vaccines has taken a toll on the share price. But the company is still tracking guidance pretty well. And the current price is just 8.6X the mid-point of expected 2026 earnings--pretty cheap.

I'm looking at relative merits of buying AROW or EWH.  Can you evaluate?  Jim T

They're really apples and oranges, other than the fact both are trading at good entry points. EWH I'm bullish on primarily because of China in 2026. It's still just below the 22 highest buy in price. But I think it goes well beyond that. The ETF declared a semi-annual dividend after CUI Plus/Dividends Premium went to post. It's 68.5 cents per unit, which is roughly twice what it paid last year. It goes to shareholders of record Dec 16--so too late for anyone not already in the position to get it. Arrow is probably the more conservative of the two as a regional upstate New York bank. I think it's a takeover target at some point. It will also benefit from banking deregulation which appears likely.

When the dividend payout ratio is high as, in DMLP (246%) Should I worry? If not, Why not?

Dorchester is a royalty trust. It always pays out 100% of its cash flow--so I'm not sure the number you have is relevant. The only reason you buy DMLP is if you want to bet on higher oil and gas prices in 2026. If we get them as we expect, you'll get a much fatter dividend and the share price will follow it up.

Two more questions : 1) GEV Your thoughts on the 10% drop yesterday please. I have a position currently. Do you think it’s just profit taking or a new chip company supposedly using less & more efficiently? It is still private. Think it is called mystic. 2) your favorite precious metal stock? I have PALL (palladium) and SLV as well as gold (IGLD). Thanks, Dudley

Our view has been that GE Vernova Inc--not in our coverage universes currently--is extremely expensive and bid up on AI hype. It's a substantial company with a dominant market position in many areas and very real, growing earnings. But you shouldn't be surprised about big swings in the share price at this point. Today, for example, GEV closed up $25 a share or more than 4%--wiping out a good part of that loss. But you're up 95% year to date. As for a chip company taking its market share, that sounds like a rank rumor. But if it's having an impact on the share price, it may be time to take a little off the table.

Newmont is my favorite precious metals stock for conservative investors. But I think it's more in harvest mode at these prices.

Hi Guys.  I haven't been on chats for a while.  Trying to get back to it.  What do you think about CQP?  It's one of my smaller positions and for some reason I can't bring myself to add to it.  Thanks.

Hi Mack. I think Cheniere has a very stable contract-based business. We track it in the MLPs and Midstream coverage universe and rate it a buy at 55 or lower. It's been kind of left out of the conversation as so many LNG export facilities are built. But it appears to be on track for solid incremental growth--also interesting how it pays a variable portion of its dividend now in addition to the base of 77.5 cents.
