Seren stared at her feet she looked down there was a parcel...

Seren hesitated. What was inside? There was a rattling sound which shocked him. Quickly he grabbed the package.

Serene undid the ribbon and clasped the crisp wrapping, she peeled it back.

She swiftly turned around.A rustle- from the parcel.

Seren's eyes examined the platform up and down wondering whether to open the parcel.

Seren ran under the empty veranda having seen a moving... thing. It looked like a robot but it looked like a crow at the same time. She ran after it trying to kill it with stones. She did this because she knew a normal bird would wince in pain but this one didn't. She went back to the parcel but it was gone....

But it was not empty: dark shapes skulked through the shadows.

At that moment, Seren clutched the parcel to her chest and stared into the distance where the man had dissapered.

Seren walked up to a small, wooden table. On top was a crumpled photo of a plump women with a soothing smile and a blue dress, she held the parcel up to her chest and thought what if it ...belonged to the man.

Serin walked over to the seats slowly, looking around; hoping to find the old man. "Where is he?" she whispered to her self.

Seren stared into the icy darkness looking for the old man. Suddenly the box made another noise just as she was going to open it.

Puzzled, Seren grabbed the package and headed back to the platform. She stared into the thin lines of the package. In the distance, a train screeched to a halt.

As it advanced towards the platform, Seren saw that the train was empty. The doors creaked open and, hiding the package behind her back and entered the train, stepping onto it gingerly.
