Tulo was using a leg kick in spring training but hit his homer the other night was with a toe tap. Did anyone notice if he switched mid game?
Craig Edwards
7:01
i did not

7:02
bad weather?
Craig Edwards
7:02
yeah-that will be the theme for tomorrow with the make up games.

Is there a world/rotation where it makes sense to go with your fourth starter on opening day? Feels like number ones match up all season but maybe a slightly less dumb question in a playoff series.
Craig Edwards
7:04
not really because you want your best pitcher to pitch as many games as possible throughout the season.
Brandon
7:04
Park with his first major league single!
Bork
7:04
Tulo's leg kick is something he's trying to implement more this year. A bunch of Jays started using one over the off-season after working with Donaldson and Colabello's personal hitting coach
Poor Man's Rick Reed
7:05
Oh no. No no no no. I'm getting blacked out of Kershaw opening day??? I thought if the game was on ESPN, if you get ESPN, you can watch?
Craig Edwards
7:05
Nope. Local blackouts. It isn't the Sunday night game which would be only exception.
Minty
7:05
Unless you're the Marlins with Jose
Owen Watson
7:05
Good afternoon/evening everyone!
Hey Craig!
Craig Edwards
7:05

Hey Owen. Welcome!

Anyone including the Padres know what the Padres plan is ,trade Ross at the deadline?
Craig Edwards
7:06
try to compete for a while, then trade everyone probably
Owen Watson
7:06
Thanks! Just watched that Phillies game, yeehaw
juan pierres mustache
7:07

How did Iglesias look?
Owen Watson
7:08
Stephen Drew is JUST the guy I want coming up in a huge bases-loaded spot
Craig Edwards
7:08
He looked pretty good, but did leave an offspeed pitch inside to Galvis that he took out of the park. Tough to tell with the level of the opponent, but an encouraging start.
Owen Watson
7:08
I thought he looked pretty good. Hung his curve a few times. I thought the Galvis homer was wind-aided, but I could be wrong.
7:09
Yup!
He does have some movement, yeesh.
Craig Edwards
7:09
Oh barves
GOAT OAT
7:09
I hope the Padres don't trade Ross too early, I need him to make the All Star game
Craig Edwards
7:10
Cinci had that issue last year with Cueto. Not sure it will be repeated in SD if there is a trade to be made
Ryan
7:11
Of these 7 o'clock eastern games, what's everybody's choice for the neutral to watch?
Owen Watson
7:11
I'm going to mainly watch the Jays/Rays game, probably.

7:12
whatcha expect from smyly?
Owen Watson
7:12
Could be a scary day against the righties in that lineup.
Sam C
7:13
Gonna watch the Jays when they're batting, Kershaw when he's pitching.
Owen Watson
7:13
This seems like a good strategy.
7:14
I feel like I need a bigger TV so I can do the quadbox MLB.tv thing
Bootcat
7:15
whatcha expect from the rest of the jays starting rotation??
Craig Edwards
7:15
Okay everybody, seems like Owen has everything under control and I believe I have fulfilled my obligation so I will be signing off.
Owen Watson
7:15
Have a good night, Craig!
