Question: Is there a justifiable baseball reason to take Murray over Swaggerty? The only thing that makes that make sense for me is he said he would take underslot money in exchange for being allowed to play football next year. From a baseball-only perspective, Murray over Swaggerty seems like a bad choice.

They are comparable talents, both have some contact questions, Swaggerty has more raw, Murrays is a better runner. Both pretty short track records on the big stage. Not like a crazy enormous gap, but there is one.
