Hi there again Mr. Fenton.
I have this one last minute doubt about the application. I have prepared a 2 minute elevator pitch video on my achievements and accolades, explaining why  the University must give me an admit and also created myself a website explaining my research ( 6 research projects, 11 publications and 4 patents filed), also created github, researchgate, ORCID  library for myself. Where should I attach these links and how do I go about it? Is attaching the video link to the personal statement as well as other links such as my website, researchgate, ORCID to my CV a good idea?

Shreyas, good day! That sounds like quite an impressive portfolio you've put together. I would recommend perhaps putting the link to your "elevator pitch" video on your Personal Statement, and then also putting that on the website, as well as linking the website on your CV.

Thank you Mr. Fenton. Will do as directed
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Shreyas, you are welcome. Please note that this is a recommendation, not a direction.

Hi Will, hope you are doing well. I sent my GRE score on U PENNSYLVANIA GRAD EDUCATN (2943) instead of 2888. Do I need to send it again?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:13
Hi Pratik, no you shouldn't need to. Have you already submitted your application?
Pratik
10:20
Thanks for the reply Will. No, I haven't. I'm about to submit.
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:22
Ok, well I can't check if we have it until you've submitted your application. The only issue will be that the official scores will need to be manually matched to your application, instead of relying on our automatic-match system, due to the scores being sent to the Grad School of Education. But we do review applications based on the unofficial scores you submit on your application, so this won't delay the review of your application. Everything should be fine and we'll let you know if there are any questions.
Pratik
10:27
Okay Will. Thank you so much for your time and support :)

Hi. Can I submit my application without submitting the official gre and toefl scores as the official scores May reach after the deadline
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:45
Guest, yes. However, we do ask that you make sure to put your unofficial scores on your application. If you submit your application without scores we cannot review it until we receive the official scores.
Guest
10:49
But will my application be accepted if I send official scores after the deadline?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:50
Yes, as long as all other materials are submitted on time and the tests were taken by today, you'll be fine.
Guest
10:55
It means I should submit the application with all the docs and I can later submit my official scores
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:55
Yes, guest, you can do that.
Guest
10:55
So I can submit my application with all docs and I can later submit the official score.
10:56
Thank you so much

Guest, you are welcome!

How can I check if my GRE and IELTs score were received by the University?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
11:15
Jerome, you can log into your application account and check: https://www.applyweb.com/upenng/index.ftl. Please note that if you recently applied the scores may not be linked yet due to the volume of applications we receive. However, as long as you've taken the exams prior to the deadline, this won't delay the review of your application.
11:30
BRB, y'all!
11:35
And I'm back!

11:38
For the MS CBE, do I need to mention professors whose labs I want to work in ?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
11:39
Guest, you do not need to mention it, but it is always a good idea to be as specific as possible in your Personal Statement.

Hi, i gave toefl on 12th jan 2019, however my scores are under administrative review. ETS says it may take days, weeks or even months for my scores to be released. So what should i enter in the toefl section? I am from india and the medium of undergrad and transcipts mention 4 years of academic study in english.
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
12:04
Akshit, good day. At this time you can still apply and submit your unofficial scores if you have them, as we do review applications based on the unofficial scores. If you do not have them, we will not be able to issue a decision on your application until we have received valid scores. However, as you took them prior to the deadline, as long as ETS releases them, they will still count.
Akshit gupta
12:09
But, what about toefl waiver for candidates with more than 3 years of undergrad experience where medium of instruction is english?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
12:10
Oh, well if you qualify for that then you don't need to submit TOEFL scores. However, that is approved manually, AFTER you submit your application and we're able to review all of your application materials.

Hi, I have a question regarding GRE score report
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
12:16
Hi Jin Young Kim. What's your question?
Jin Young Kim
12:19
I saw an email this morning that my official GRE score report must be sent to the school by the deadline. But, on the website, it says that the official score can be sent after the deadline as long as I put scores on the application. Is that correct?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
12:20
Yes, that is correct. We require that you have sat for the exam by the application deadline.
Jin Young Kim
12:23
That sounds great! Thank you for the help. Also, I have another question on the score reports.
So, I took several GRE exams, and I am wondering if it would be better to report all the scores or just one that I choose?
