Hey, quick site question:  didn't there used to be a list of all present and former FanGraphs writers somewhere on the site? -- so, like if I wanted to read what George Plimpton wrote for FanGraphs back in 1968 I could just click on his name?

If you do blog.fangraphs.com, you'll get the recent author list I don't know where the big one went, but it was SUPER long.
I can bring it up at a meeting if you want

On Effectively Wild the other day, Ben and Sam had a conversation with Rob Arthur in which he seemed to say that under identical circumstances – identical launch angle, spin, exit velocity, atmospheric conditions, etc. – the coefficient of restitution of the ball could result in fifty feet of variance and the drag coefficient in another thirty.  Obviously there’s some lesser variance in pitch speed and trajectory as well, but did I hear that correctly?  Eighty feet of randomness on each swing, just from those two variables?  That seems….sub-optimal from a competitive standpoint.

The good news is Yuli Gurriel probably won't hit a home run off Kurt Suzuki and then get himself suspended

Late response, but ball four to Springer looked like it should have been strike. It's crazy how much of a difference strike zone calls can make.

Other than injury, is there anything potential free agents do to affect their valuation on the market?  It seems like demonstrating an ability to pitch on an erratic schedule – coming out of the bullpen as a starter or stretching out to multiple innings as a reliever – would add information that might not have been available.
