if a player on a team that hits 85 % does not get vaccinated, are the rules restricted for that player as well? it seems like yes but that this would still have potential issues.

Jay, re: BBWAA voters and shortened seasons, there is only one particular case which may have been maligned by the shortened 1994 season and that's Fred McGriff.

That would have been almost entirely milestone driven, though. By JAWS, McGriff is a pretty underwhelming candidate and would not get my vote, though I understand why he'll get in via the Era Committees.
