Patrick B, no way. I called for and loved the Big Ben pick, not so with the Kenny P pick. Feel they could have traded back and still got Kenny P, another QB or other player with more upside.

Trubisky must kicking himself now. He had a chance to go to the Giants and replace Jones, who was declined his 5th year contract. Now, he has to play in the Canada offense. Ugh.

I doubt they trade Mason. They want four QBs and will sign someone. Hey, sports are competition. No one gets handed a job. I hope Mason, and Mitch and Pickett and whoever are fired up to fight for the job!

The run of WRs before they pick fueled this pick. The trade of A.J. Brown says it all. The huge contracts are making the stars expendable and the rookies valued.

Look, I get the people who wanted DL and other positions. But this is worth noting. If the Pickett pick works, you can pay for pretty much anything else you need.

It's a tried and true model.

Pickett was the most complete QB in the draft and Steelers are lucky he was still available. Wow, lots of competition!!

Nothing against Pickett - I think no matter what the Steelers did at 20 it was going to be polarizing with this fan base - but I think many of us feel they could have found a trade partner and moved back and still gotten him.

I was all in on Davis and Olave or Wilson but they were gone by 20. I'm absolutely fine with Pickett given the way the draft went.
