I'm guessing there are players whose modal projection is notably different from their median projection?  I understand why you go with median, but if you wanted "single best guess for what a single player does this year" how much different would it be?

That worked for awhile with our daughter — and to some extent still does when it comes to taking her to the ballpark. But at 8 1/2 now, she's mostly out when it comes to actually caring about the game. Sigh.

I think he's building a sneaky-good case. Thanks to his defensive prowess, he's reached the 40-WAR peak threshold (best seven seasons worth at least 40 WAR); something like 76% of eligible players with that threshold get in eventually. However, he's still got work to do, as he's at 45.9 career WAR/40.6 peak WAR/43.3 JAWS , so he's about 13 points shy of the standard and he's already 33. He's gonna need at least a few more very good seasons.
