Miss Lace make wonderful lemon curd. She puts it on some brown bread and lets me eat it on the sofa by the fire.

In the morning, I had to wake up at 6 o'clock sharp, get dressed and make my way outside to chop wood for the stove top. Then, when I finish, I shove all the wood into the stove and light it on fire with a match. I put a mixture of gasoline and wood shavings on the wood to aid in lighting the wood on fire.  And then I wake up the owner, Ms Parker... She's grumpy as always.

When I wake up I have a picture of you on my wall so I won’t forget you but today is the school day I have to go to school but first what I do is I get ready Then I eat then I get my bag ready by myself after we Head to school at once we finally do art Let’s we do maths later we do English and then later in the afternoon we have lunch let me do some more learning then we finally go home.

In the afternoon, Ms Anny made me go get some eggs from the chikens then she makes me some boiled eggs it tasted like normal every day breakfast because i have to do it every day

Dear mum, Without you I had to make myself breakfast and clean the floor twice a week. For breakfast I eat bread with jam and a cup of tea. I was packing in my suit case bombs in case if germany bomb us and a gas mask in case there's a fire.

Dear mum, it has been a long time since I'v seen you so that is why I am wiriting I miss you so much I can't wait until I come home. I am realy sad becuse i have been put with a horrible family the worst part is that they don't care about me!

Dear mum, today I got some eggs from my chicken called Tilly  I found it on the mountain right in front of me I have eggs for my breakfast  now. My teacher Karen give me my maths today.

In the afternoon, I started of by walking down the road to go get water from the well, I walked back up to the house. I picked up the dirty sponge and went outside. Today was the day that I have to scrub the and clean the animals. Then once I have finished that I go inside and and scrub the whole house. Then I have to go make some tea for Miss Hill.​

Dear ma.  Thanks for the leftovers we had to run to the house because the air raid sirens so we’re lucky to survive. We forgot to grab stuff from the house so we where in the bunker with nothing.
