Not playoff relevant but fun to speculate: with Bauer tweeting about his trip to Boston. Does a 2021 rotation of Bauer/Sale/Eovaldi/Huock/fifth guy make a possible fringe contender again? Have to think it'd also be largely dependent on bounce-backs from JDM and Benintendi too. Too many if's?

I wouldn't rule out their switching tacks this offseason, but I also kind of think they might hope for expanded playoffs to bail them out and let them have a shot at the playoffs without bothering to spend
