Antibody tests may come up positive after vaccination but PCR tests will not be positive after vaccination. If you have a positive PCR after vaccination that should be treated as a true positive

It is recommended that people who have had Covid 19 get the vaccination since your body may react differently to the vaccine and provide you with more protection than the natural infection

At this time nothing changes about the other COVID risk mitigation strategies. Everyone will need to continue to wear masks/PPE, social distance, and monitor for symptoms. Hopefully over the coming months as more of the population gets vaccinated and case counts decrease we will be able to relax some of these measures with guidance from CDC and public health

No at this time the only factors in our prioritization were professional risk based on a staff member's job and their personal risk factors of age & comorbidities. Our goal is to get everyone who wants to be vaccinated, offered a vaccine as quickly and efficiently as possible. Including multiple risk factors will make that process more complicated and slow things down

The studies thus far have shown that the vaccine is effective for at least several months - that is how long the study participants have been followed thus far. Those study participants are continuing to be followed to gather additional information on how long immunity lasts and how/when boosters may be needed. This is very common for vaccine trials that additional information on duration of immunity and need for boosters comes out after the vaccine is used.
