Hello Will, I have applied for the PhD program in Computer Science. While I submitted the application before the deadline, two of my Professor are yet to send my recommendation letters, since they travelling. would that disqualify me as an applicant? I had been in touch with one of the Professor's at UPenn to join his research lab, should I reach him out about this as well?

Ragini, we do require all application materials, including the letters, to be submitted by the application deadline. Otherwise we don't consider it to be complete.

Hi Martin, did you check out their website? https://gradadm.seas.upenn.edu/masters/data-science/. They say this at the bottom, under prereqs - "The MSE in Data Science targets students who have strong mathematical and statistical proficiency, and some programming experience."

Ragini, you can submit an email to admissions2@seas.upenn.edu. That's about it. The issue is that the application has been open since Sept 15, so there's been four months for the letters to be submitted.

Hi Moein, it is usually updated 48-72 hours. However, we have discovered that there is an issue with the scores matching to applications, so we are working on that right now. However, this will not delay the review of your application, especially if we already have your unofficial scores.
