Hi
Iqra

What is a good number of sessions to attend to attend the summer school
AvatarMolly
4:02
Hey @Shaiza - no you don't, it's totally up to you what you attend so if there isn't something every day then you don't need to come every day

hey

The only requirement is that you attend 3 across the whole of Y12, and 5 across the entire programme
AvatarHaaroon

@Iqra, there isn't a specific amount of events you need to attend in order to apply for the summer school. We encourage you to attend as many events as possible. But at the minimum two, to be eligible for the summer school

Will i be able to attend an event that has been full booked at a later date

Do we need to attend a session in February or is it fine if we don’t
Iqra
4:03
OK thanks
Azeema
4:04
Would this be classed as our 2nd event?
AvatarHaaroon
4:04
@Hibbah, you don't need to attend a session in February Half Term if there isn't any that are suitable to you
AvatarMolly
4:05
Hey @Azeema, if you attended induction day then that does count, so your first event in Feb would be event number 2 :)
Hifza Irfan

does the induction day count as an event too?
AvatarMolly

@Hifza yep - see above :)

Hi @guest. Good question. We do usually run repeats of Get Set for Uni and Get Research Ready sessions, but not of the academic taster sessions.

What are we supposed to bring to the events, will we need our own notepad, bag etc.

What is a good score to get in the BMAT to study medicine at Leeds?
Azeema
4:06
Ohh okay thank youu
Guest

Does rfe allow us to have a higher chance of getting into access to Leeds
AvatarMolly
4:06
@Danyal - this is one for our Medicine experts that you will hopefully meet in Feb Half Term if you're signed on to Medicine & Dentistry: The Lowdown!
4:07
If you're not able to come to that one then there will be more sessions in Easter and later on - including ones with a specific BMAT focus
AvatarMatthew
4:07
Hi @Iqra. Yes, I'd definitely suggest bringing a notepad and pen but apart from that just come ready to engage with the session and join in!
