Attending events will definitely help you get experience of what it is like to study at university and specifically study Dentistry. We offer events that give you tips on how to get work placements

what happens if you can’t attend a event due to holidays etc?

Hi, we don't expect you to be able to attend every single event we put on offer. We just ask that you attend a minimum of 5 events across the next 2 years to fully engage with the programme and get the most out of it as stated in your learner agreement :)

Will we have MMI mock interviews for medicine ?

Hello, I just wanted to ask about accessing the alternative offer when applying to Leeds university. Do you need to make Leeds your firm or can you have it as your insurance to access the alternative access offer?

Hi Yusra, yes we do offer MMI mock interviews for medicine! And in answer to your second question, you would need to make Leeds your firm choice on UCAS to receive the lower Access to Leeds offer

Also at the induction Josh the first year medicine student told me that we don't need to apply for Access to Leeds because we will automatically be enrolled to it since we are in RFR, is that true or do I still need to apply for that separately?

That's correct, you don't need to apply to Access to Leeds. You just need to complete a separate form. You will be informed of the details and the process closer to the time

Hi Yusra, we continually update our programme throughout the year to cater for our student's interests, we release programmes for each event block typically about 3-4 weeks before :) we have confirmed a discover medicine series of academic workshops however, the first taking place next week. Two more taking place in Easter and the fourth and final session taking place in the summer school. We would encourage you to sign up early for these events though as they are very popular!
