He's a reliever; which as a group are notoriously inconsistent.

AL only, OBP league.  NLowe or HRamos ROS?  Is it close?
Brent Hershey
12:47
Ramos; not really close. Much more secure PT

AL only, obp league.  I currently have Fortes as my C (replaced Langeliers).  But Ballesteros and Hicks are on the wire.  Please rank ROS with any gaps/comment:  Hicks, Ballesteros, Fortes.
Brent Hershey
12:49
In the order you have them; Hicks pretty firmly #1 over MB. Both an upgrade for me over Fortes.

NL only, saves/HOLDS league.  Please rank these MRs ROS:    KYates, TClarke, DFuentes, SHentges.  Seems like Yates is not yet in the Holds mix...but he will be?
Brent Hershey
12:50
Fuentes, Hentges, Yates, Clark. Not sure on Yates; some harder throwing guys ahead of him there.

Thoughts on Drew Anderson this week? He highly rated with 2 starts but is he going to make it to 5 innings?
Brent Hershey
12:53
Yeah, fair criticism; he might be challenged to get through five, especially on the first one. Per-inning numbers should be good, though - sometimes that's helpful, especially over 2 GS

H2H 12 team points league heavily weighted to W. Tanner Bibbe scares me, don’t know what version I’m getting. Better to roll with a one start pitcher like Logan Webb? Also have Christian Scott for a 2 stepper
Brent Hershey
12:53
I'd throw Scott; as I hear ya on Bibee

In a 12-team H2H points league and would like some thoughts on my line up for this week only

3B - R Lewis or A Riley
DH - Loser of R Lewis/A Riley, D Canzone, DeLauter
Brent Hershey
12:54
Lewis; on a tear
Canzone, DeLauter, Riley.

Just have no confidence in Riley at this point.

AL only, obp league.  Please rank ROS:  LTaveras, CCowser, LEmerson.  As ever, thanks so much Brent!
Brent Hershey

Cowser, Emerson (Colt?), Taveras.

hi brent, with the arrival of bradford and montgomery in texas: is it the end of rocker 2026 value? rocker is approaching his innings limit as per bhq analysis. Aresome of Wesnewski, dobbins, bratt, kremer, bradford and povich better options ROS. Which are your favorites?
Brent Hershey
12:57
Wesneski is my fave of the list; feel like Bradford/Kremer are next. Don't think I'd jettison Rocker for Bratt/Povich

Hi Brent.  I'm in a 10-team keeper league (AL/NL) and needing to decide on which player I keep in 2027.  Lawlar, Caglianone, and Jenkins.  I'm leaning towards Jenkins right now but a little disappointed with the AAA numbers he has put up this year.  Which ones of these three do you see as studs for 2027 and beyond?
Brent Hershey
1:00
Lawlar and Jenkins have so much injury history that my intital lean was Cags (and his MLB experience probably moves him closer to a 2027 breakout). But in a 10-teamer, you'll have plenty of replacements if/when guys get hurt. I might agree with you on Jenkins — so hard to judge based on AAA numbers. Feel like if Jenkins gets healthy, he'll have a spot for sure in MIN. Moreso than Lawlar.

Has Coby Mayo turned any kind of a corner and do you think he can actually be a long-term answer at 3B/DH? Plus he also qualifies at 1B in some fantasy leagues. How would you rank Burger, Schanuel, and Mayo ROS and over the course of the next 2-3 years?
Brent Hershey
1:02
A couple glimpses of the corner? He could be the long-term answer, but it's not a slam dunk. Should really be a 1B, but of course not happening in BAL. Still, would rank Mayo/Burger/Schan in next 2-3 years, mostly b/c Mayo still young and could improve.

OK, a few more; will keep em short

Speaking of heavy anchors on a sinking ship... DMartin and Wrobleski...   Cut them both?  What say you?
Brent Hershey

Keep Martin for another start

What do you think of Bubba Chandler ROS? I'm in contention in NL-only 5x5 keeper league, need W and Ks and ERA. Keep him on my bench until 2 or 3 good starts, or play him? If I bench him, Gasser starts in his stead.
Brent Hershey

Play him

10 team NL only - saves plus half a point for holds, can you rank the top 3 from Ginkel, Bowlan, B. Rodriquez (SD), E Phillips (LA) Antone and Burke Cinci, Rolison (Chi). And your view on Merrill Kelly and Randy Vasquez?  Do you like either starter over relievers?  in very tight battles across all pitching categories. You could rank top 5
Brent Hershey
1:04
RP: Bowlan, Rodriguez, Burke.
Not huge fan of either Kelly or Vasquez; might go relievers
ROS: TB/OB 5x

Bailey or Caratini?

Any news/opinion on Kurtz ROS?   I get the A's would want to shut him down entirely.... but Kurtz would want to play and they want him to be happy?  ugh. Just grasping at straws here....

NL-only, 12-team, dynasty. Clinging to first place, with dogfights happening in SB, runs, and RBI categories. Just a handful counting stats from an unexpected source can mean a point or two. I have free agent money to spend. Are any of the following worth a dart throw for today's bidding: Ronny Smith, Austin Hays, Grant McCray, Andrew Pinckney, Gabriel Arias, Ji Hwan Bae? It is crazy how our league often comes down to this ...
Brent Hershey

Hays, then Arias.
