He'll get some holds, but for sure behind Kerkering and Strahm in the pecking order. Not sure it's a windfall.

hi Brent, have you seen Castellanos hitting recently? Do you have an idea of what is going on? Hidden injury? Should I bench him until he looks better? My alternatives are Pham, Vargas and J Sanchez, thank you

I've seen him in the batters box attempting to hit, yes. It's ugly right now, but not out of character; he's a streaky hitter. Yes, he would be a bench candidate, I'd prefer Sanchez and then Vargas to him right now.

15 team mixed.  Considering dropping CHolmes and/or JTGinn... both will hurt more than help ROS?  I see on the waiver wire:  Melton, DMay, BLord

Love Melton -- IF you're able to just play him each week, regardless of whether he's scheduled to start or not. Lord looked good last night; might prefer him to Ginn. Ginn v May a toss-up for me.

Don't have much off the cuff; but will be covered in tomorrow morning's Callups column.
