Maybe, but it's not like they're missing much with Fielder. Just opens up a clearer path to playing time for Profar, though I suppose Beltran provides an upgrade over Moreland

I've seen a lot of cubs fans try to claim that they had no room for Torres, so including him in the Chapman trade is justified, but is there really no room for him? I don't see Zobrist, Baez, or even Russel being sure things by the time Torres is ready.

Yeah, I don't like this line of thinking at all.
There's always room for a top SS prospect
And even if there isn't room, that doesn't mean you sell low on him
