How should I feel about Nick Senzel in semi-deep h2h dynasty league right now? His keeper salary is 5% of my draft budget. Felt like a coin-flip before the Castellanos signing. Now it feels like he's cuttable.

What becomes of Nick Senzel considering Cinic's logjam in the OF? If he's not traded does he have a full-time spot in the neup or is he limited to 350-400 ABs? You in on him this year?
Brad Johnson

2 back to back Senzel questions. Been waiting for this.
5:00
To me, he looks like a utility guy for them
5:01
I think there's been some seriously inflated expectations for Senzel for fantasy purposes so I would take this opportunity as an excuse to "sell low" (which just means you're willing to sell at full price rather than extract extra rent.)

$32 Benintendi in FGPts.  Keep or cut?
Brad Johnson
5:01
That is going to depend on the surrounding cast
5:02
Never feels great to keep a guy who fell short of his price last season but projects to exceed it this year.
In a vacuum, that's a keep. Or at least a trade for like a $4 Max Fried dart throw.

Will Joey Bart or Alex Kirilloff see the majors in 2020?
Brad Johnson
5:02
Kirilloff seems to have a goodly chance.
5:03
Catchers tend to move a little slower. Lemme check up on Bart.
Bart probably repeats at Double-A to start. His performance will dictate if he has a shot for a late-season debut.
5:04
Remember, the Giants aren't playing for anything so unless they're surprise contending late in the summer, they have every reason to hold Bart out until mid-April 2021.
And the timeline should be very defensible.

are most fantasy leagues upping roster size to 26 this season?
Brad Johnson
5:05
I don't think that's really a thing for us.
It might subtly affect the way we play, but not the basic formats for how we play.

Despite my best efforts, my head to head league has HLD and SV as two separate counting stats. Are Emilio Pagán's peripherals good enough to justify keeping him as a closer spec with holds upside? Or should I wake up and accept that RP is just too volatile, especially where the Rays are concerned?
Brad Johnson
5:06
Without more info, I'll say that Pagan is pretty good and should compile both saves and holds.

I picked up a fixer-upper team for kicks - in no small part because of a cheap Wander Franco on the roster. What's the soonest I can reasonably project him to produce in the show? 2022?
Brad Johnson
5:06
I'm interested to see how the Rays handle Franco. I imagine they will be opening long term contract negotiations over next winter.
5:07
If they can get that nine or 10 year pre-debut deal locked in, we might see him for 2021.
Hell, they could even bring that forward to 2020 if they think he can help them in the playoffs.
5:08
But it all depends on them landing the extension first.
If Wander is opposed to extending, that pushes him back to an early 2022 debut.
Time to start wrapping up

Any profound wisdom on Royce Lewis?  He struggled, but is up to AA. Is he worth drafting in a keeper league with limited rosters (5 bench, no minor league spots)?
Brad Johnson
5:09
He's still quite good. Don't let the struggling worry you too much. He was obviously one of the best players in the AFL along with Vidal Brujan.

5:09
Whitley, Mize, Manning longterm..
Brad Johnson
5:09
Same asset class. I like Manning most I think but you can shrug and pick any

How much of Josh Rojas' Otto value went out the window with the Marte trade?
Brad Johnson
5:10
He's a $1 player now
Was a... $3 player before?
At least in FGpts
He was already pushed into utility work. Now he's probably bumped to Triple-A.
And his speed doesn't help in FGpts.
(much)

Scott Kingery...20/20 potential?
Brad Johnson

It's there.
