When he returned last year, everything that made him a borderline elite closer in previous years was present. Command was shakier than normal, but can bet on that being rust.

I like Kurt Suzuki and Andrew Knapp as my reachy catchers. Suzuki joined the air ball revolution is a sustainable-looking way.

Knapp has that hard ground ball contact profile we see work for speedsters but not plodders. But Yonder Alonso learned how to hit fly balls. Maybe Knapp can too. He's outplaying Cameron Rupp for the second catcher spot in Philly.

Notably, Alfaro is unlikely to play more than 60%, especially once it becomes apparent that he's Joey Gallo with less power and way too many GBs.
