'Twas for 7x7 roto. Apologies for lack of context. Thanks for the answer!
Brad Johnson
4:39
You say that as if there is such a thing as a standard 7x7 roto :)
Know Knuthing Kannuck Riggs

Given a $150 budget in a 16-team 5x5, is $29 too much to pay for Harper?
Brad Johnson
4:40
Can't say I have internalized values for that. Smells OKish. Let me try a different smell test
4:41
Uh, auction calc says $12
Trout's only $23
Those are probably low, but I think it's safe to say $29 is too much
Nate
4:41
Is Matt Barnes undervalued in fantasy formats?
Brad Johnson
4:41
Nah, he's getting drafted
4:42
He's like CL 26 and I kinda think Brasier is better if/when he's fully up to speed
Mmm Mmm Good
4:42
Who ya got rest of career - Devers or Andujar?
Brad Johnson
4:42
EZ Devers
gary mack
4:42
If you had to choose, Mize or Paddack, as best long-term pitching investment in Dynasty... who you got?
Brad Johnson
4:42
I would pick Paddack as I have no patience for rostering the development years of SPs

do you see Bud Black going with a platoon at 2B with mcmahon and hampson?
Brad Johnson
4:43
He himself has said he will
So yes
Matt

Duck Showalter for you fowl-loving O's fans.

Any idea if Lindor's injury is the sort that can affect him throughout the season? Like obliques and hand injuries can linger, sap power etc... Can I expect typical levels of production when he's back?
Brad Johnson
4:43
Should be fine, but as we saw with Donaldson, no injury recovery is safe
Calves usually heal without issue

I have protection once again!  Can I hit 30 HR once again?
Brad Johnson
4:44
Can? Sure. Will? Probably not.
Remember there's Pujols and Ohtani crowding the picture.

3 years ago, my league shifted from W to QS. With openers and super pens, this seems to have been a bad change. Any thoughts on a different scoring category? (No SP/RP manipulation, so its a SP-only metric)
Brad Johnson
4:45
I prefer straight wins or a Ws+QS variant

4:45
Keeper league with QS, which 3 do you keep: Heaney, Pivetta, Eduardo Rodriguez,
Oops, here’s the full question: keep 3 (6x6 scoring with QS): Heaney, Pivetta, Eduardo Escobar, Hendricks , porcello
Brad Johnson
4:45
The Eduardo has changed...
I like Porcello for QS leagues. He's one of the most consistent 6 IP guys among the non-elite
4:46
Hendricks is pretty solid in that regard too, even if that's a boring pick
With the Red Sox bad pen ERod might be a better play than Pivetta who might go six innings eight times all year
4:47
Phillies have a stacked 8-man pen and Pivetta seems like a classic "get him out before the third time" guy
(I really think they should Open for Pivetta and VV)
Turgid
4:47
See you agree with me... do you want Goldy, Freeman, or Arenado? Which one is the $40 guy?
Brad Johnson
4:47
Arenado

Hey Brad - I need to make a decision on my 2-year franchise. Bellinger, Rendon, or Bauer? Who's the safest to perform of this bunch?
Brad Johnson
4:48
A hitter is safest. I like Rendon most personally. Bauer is highest rated for 2019 thouh
And given we're only fussing about two years, it might make sense to only focus on 2019 and let 2020 happen

Turns out saying 'lol oh no my velo is down in spring' sarcastically has a bad track record. Betances, Fulmer... we're coming for you next, Greinke.
