We have no way of knowing.
With the juiced ball, we almost can't use players like Mallex Smith and expect to win
But if it's de-juiced, then he might be part of a winning formula

My advice for this is to judge the quality of the owners in your league
The higher the quality, the more complex you can get

If it's fairly low quality, then very few (or no) keeps is best
In this case, the 8-keep scenario is higher difficulty

We keep five pitchers and five hitters.  I'm keeping Buehler, Bieber, deGrom, Corbin, Cole Mondesi, Bogaerts, Bellinger and Guerero.  I'm going to have to trade or cut Rosario, Aquino, K. Marte, Abreu, Bauer, German, Greinke and Caleb Smith.

Though you should remember that pitcher velocity does naturally increase a bit throughout the season. And the winter can undo some positive changes.
