Maybe they bowl over the D-Backs for Zac Gallen?
Orioles
9:42
what could we get for Mancini at this point?
Anthony Franco
9:44
I don't think he'd fetch enough of a return for it to be worthwhile. Good but not great hitter in arbitration who's been 1B/DH only this year- it's the kind of profile teams have really devalued recently

Brad Hand to Toronto for a Top 10 org prospect? Top 15? Top 20? What are your thoughts? Thanks, Anthony.
Anthony Franco
9:46
Hand makes sense for Toronto if Washington listens on him (they should IMO). Of course, that's true of a bunch of other teams too. Someone between 10-20 in the org sounds about right but that's obviously highly dependent on the acquiring team's farm system

Kyle Gibson is pitching for which team come August 1?
Anthony Franco
9:47
Complete guess, but I'll go Dodgers
Trade deadline
9:47
Biggest sleeper team to watch make moves between now and then?
Anthony Franco
9:48
I'm not really sure what constitutes a "sleeper team," but I think between Marte, Aguilar/Cooper and a bunch of solid relievers, Miami has a lot of interesting trade candidates
Jerry DiPoto
9:49
Do I make Murphy or Torrens available at the deadline?
Anthony Franco
9:50
Not going to be much demand for either, I don't think. Thought Murphy was on the verge of the breakout after 2019 but he lost all of last year and hasn't played well this season
Walton Dilcox
9:51
Are the Brewers WS contenders?
Anthony Franco
9:51
Everyone who makes the playoffs is a WS contender in my opinion, because postseason series can be pretty fluky
9:52
But yeah, I think Milwaukee's legit and really dangerous in a short series with the three-headed rotation monster

pirates get a better return for Frazier or RichRod?
Anthony Franco
9:53
I think Frazier. Could see teams being a little worried about Rich Rod's lack of missed bats
9:54
There'll still be plenty of interest in both, to be clear, but I think Frazier fetches a little more

Who do u see the rangers trading? Thanks in advance have a good night! hope u get to my ?!
Anthony Franco
9:55
I did! Gallo, Gibson, Ian Kennedy and Culberson
Nomar Mazara
9:55
Who gives me another chance.   Braves can always take a chance on another reclamation project…
Anthony Franco
9:56
I think he's looking at minor league deals at this point
9:57
He's had over 2500+ MLB plate appearances and never really performed. I think it's time to conclude the lack of defensive value and poor approach just undermined the physical abilities

Is the likelihood that Eduardo gets traded 100%? know he almost went to the white sox a few weeks ago and the giants were in the mix. where do you see him going?
Anthony Franco
9:59
Escobar? I think he's almost certainly gone. White Sox, Mets, Brewers, Nats (if they buy) all make sense
Beans
9:59
Rays?! Again?! Wow. Al the "experts" keep missing on the Red Sox. Sox take the division by 6. And that is what I said in spring. All rise.
Anthony Franco
10:00
Definitely possible. I have a little more faith in TB pitching but the Red Sox are also good, yeah
Wonder Franchise
10:00
Whom do you think will be the No.1 prospect next season?  Adley? Witt? Torkelson?
Anthony Franco
10:01
Seems like it's Rutschman, yeah
Angels
10:01
What are your thoughts on Angels Draft.   Yes we need pitching, but??  Was Rockers price reason for Sam?
Anthony Franco
10:02
Yeah, I imagine Bachman's bonus is going to come in below Rocker's. He's got good stuff too, though. He's a good prospect
10:03
I think the Angels want to fast track college arms to supplement the position player core over the next couple years, as the Cubs tried to do from 2016-19
10:04
But they weren't the only team to go with a bunch of pitchers. Last year's shortened draft led to an overflow of decent college pitchers being available this season, and I think the canceled minor league season last year led some teams to stockpile pitchers to avoid overworking their prospects over the next couple seasons

Do the next ten games sway Cubs at all or is it full sale mode?edasaurus
Anthony Franco
10:06
If they rattle off a ten-game win streak and get back within a game or two of the division or something, then maybe they'd reconsider
10:07
But the Pederson trade was a pretty good indicator that they're not really planning on waiting around. The sale's almost definitely coming
Alright everyone, that's all I have time for tonight.
I appreciate the questions, and my apologies for all the stuff I couldn't get to.

You can reach me on Twitter @affranco10, and I'll conduct another chat at some point next week. Have a good weekend!
