I'll take the 6000 regular-season plate appearances telling me that he's a good hitter over the 180 postseason ones
Rocco Rox

do you see the Rockies blowing it all up like the MarlinsĀ do every few years
Steve Adams
3:48
Nope
Dodger blues

Andrew has done nothing to improve the team still need bullpen help as Kenley and Joe are gas cans

I've been pretty surprised at how quiet the Dodgers have been -- agreed. There's still time to make some interesting trades, but if the offseason basically boils down to Blake Treinen,Jimmy Nelson and Alex Wood, I'd say fans are within their rights to be irritated.

I think each of those moves is fine in isolation -- Wood and Nelson in particular -- but I'd like to see them further upgrade the 'pen at least. And they certainly have the resources to have done something splashier.

What's the hold up on Donaldson?
Steve Adams
3:50
He wants more money than any of the three remaining teams are willing to offer.

Do the Redsox fire Cora, imo as a sox fan they should.
Steve Adams
3:53
Whether he's fired or suspended, I don't think Cora's managing the Sox in 2020.
Astros should have a postseason
3:53
Chances Lindor gets moved prior to the beginning of the season?
Steve Adams
3:53
Minimal

Do you think that the Rangers and the Athletics close the gap in the standings after the Houston firing?
Steve Adams
3:54
They fired AJ Hinch and Jeff Luhnow -- not George Springer and Justin Verlander.
3:55
I don't think their dismissal does much to change Houston's chances in 2020.

Hey Steve, Do you think the Tigers are done? With all the signings they cannot be serious about going into the year with the outfielders they have....
Steve Adams
3:57
I think they'd like to get extended looks at Victor Reyes, Christin Stewart, and Travis Demerritte. JaCoby Jones had a pretty nice run last summer before he landing on the IL. Daz Cameron could get a look eventually Maybe they'll bring in someone on a minor league deal or waiver claim, but I think the org probably feels like it has enough young-ish options that they'd rather not sign a free agent even on a short-term deal

Phillies are a darkhorse for JD, Mr
Steve Adams

I think the Phillies *should* be in on Donaldson, but there's no indication that they are.
Astros are cheaters!

Please tell me the Indians are not seriously thinking about letting Reyes play the OF this year
Steve Adams

I expect Franmil will see more time at DH

Do I need to step up and pay Ozuna at this point? A middle of the order bat to hit 30 hrs and 100 rbis seems to be a huge need for the birds
Steve Adams
4:01
Ozuna has been a mildly above-average hitter in three of the past four seasons. It's not like he's a 30-homer lock or anything, and the OBP he'd provide with that power, even if he got there, wouldn't be anything to write home about.

What's the best burger spot in the Twin Cities?
Steve Adams
4:03
For stuffed burgers/juicy lucys: Matt's Bar (the original) or Blue Door
Traditional: Parlour (with the bacon added -- no fried egg ... yolk detracts from the texture)

That's all for me this week, ha
