Their priority should be getting Winker in the lineup virtually every day. I don't love either Schebler or Duvall, but a strict platoon of the pairing doesn't seem especially likely. Situation could take care of itself, to some extent, if they trade Hamilton and just play one of the corner guys out of position in CF (Schebler, probably).

Nah, not for each other. Notion of a Sam Dyson trade to get a CF would be to sell him for some minor league pieces then reallocate his $4.5MMish (plus the $4MMish they are currently below the tax line) to a CF like Jarrod Dyson. Trading for Broxton would be sending some more minor league talent and would be more of a "Well we can't find a way to dump salary and sign a FA"
Bruce Bochy just told reporters in SF that Cutch is his right fielder and Pence will play left.
So yes, Giants still will look for a CF it seems.

woops. Jarrod Dyson WAR / 1000 PAs is 7.98. JD Martinez is 4.39. Dyson most underrated player in FA this year?

Dyson is also 33 and only has WAR numbers that strong because he's basically forbidden from facing LHPs, who he cannot hit a lick. And looking at career WAR undersells JDM, who had some pretty notable big league time before he totally remade himself at the plate.

I don't have any major problems with it. Hand extension was nice. I have no great way of knowing which prospects will pan out, but they're in a nice position in that regard.
