The Brewers always have tight budgets and now their TV revenue is going to go down as their deal with Diamond is dead.
Plus, with pitching, they are great at finding guys on the cheap.
Tobias Myers, Colin Rea, etc.
Go Guards!!!!

I keep hearing rumors about Josh Naylor getting traded, what do you think they will get for him?
Darragh McDonald
3:37
A couple of prospects.
George Hernandez
3:37
Will Walker Buehler receive a Qualifying Offer from the Dodgers?
Darragh McDonald
3:37
Unlikely. He's currently where Jack Flaherty was a year ago.
Some past success but not a good platform year after some injury stuff.
3:38
Jack got 1/14. Buehler is probably looking at something like that. The QO is 1/21.05

Do you really think that Fisher actually spends some money this offseason? Any ideas on who he might throw money at if he actually spends?
Darragh McDonald
3:39
So, this is my favorite crazy offseason storyline that probably won't happen but I hope does.
"A person briefed on the A’s plans in January said the team intended to carry payrolls in the $130 million to $150 range during the ramp-up period before they relocate to Las Vegas, then $170 million-plus once they move into their new fixed-roof stadium. Kaval declined to confirm those numbers at the time."
3:40
Like I said, I don't think this will happen, but what if Fisher was being intentionally cheap like the plot of Major League.
Now that the move is happening, no need to be cheap anymore.
Wouldn't that be a fun plot twist?

What kind of deal do you think Pete Alonso gets?
Darragh McDonald
3:41
This is a big debate we've been having in preparing the top 50.
3:42
Personally, I think there's a decent chance he'll end up like the Boras Four last year, where he doesn't find what he's looking for and settles for a short-term deal with opt-outs.
Touchy Tom Ricketts
3:43
Is it time to finally end the Jed Hoyer experiment?
Darragh McDonald
3:43
I wouldn't. The team is pretty good and they have 6-8 top 100 prospects, depending on which list you look at. I know it's been a frustrating few years but there's a lot of good stuff in place.

Would the CWS trade Crochet at a cheaper price if they can get someone to take Benintendi?
Darragh McDonald
3:44
I don't see why they would do this.
Their payroll is so low. They don't need to be making moves just to get rid of salary.
They should be aiming for best prospects.

Realistically, Adames will be a Dodger in 2025? I'm sure they'll inflate the Soto Sweepstakes. Do you see Burnes in Dodger Blue for the 2025 Season? Appreciate the input.
Darragh McDonald
3:45
I buy the Dodgers as a fit for Adames, yeah. I'd have the Giants top of the list but the Dodgers make sense.

They play in sunny Southern California.

The Blue Jays front office was so bad that they invested in Kodak when the world went digital. They cut/traded all the power bats and pivoted to defense when the game did the opposite. How are Ross and Mark getting a 10th year? Fans are close to rioting. Jays fans deserve so much better from a top 3 revenue team
Darragh McDonald
3:46
They were one of the best teams for the 2020-23 stretch. Played at a 90-win pace for those four years.

I'm surprised that Buehler has been able to come back from his second Tommy John surgery. I thought that was generally a career ender. What's changed?
Darragh McDonald
3:47
You're right that it's hard but it does happen. Eovaldi is probably the poster boy for success after a second TJS.

Hello I have full confidence in your pinch hitting apparance. Good analytics on youDo you think there is a good chance SEA trades a starting pitcher or 2 probably NOT their top 2
Darragh McDonald
3:47
Dipoto basically said he's not trading a starter.
3:48
You can't rule anything out with him but I get it. They have a strong rotation but not a lot of depth behind it. Trading from it is real risky.
John Kruk's Testicle
3:48
Who will be interested in trading for Luis Robert?
Darragh McDonald
3:48
Probably lots of clubs but I would be surprised if the Sox sold him now. He's coming off such a down year.
Juan Soto
3:49
Will a World Series sweep cause me to not resign with the Yankees or will I simply go to the highest bidder?
Darragh McDonald
3:49
I think he's just going to the highest bidder, though that's mostly a guess. He's turned down big contracts in the past. I think he and Boras want to set some records and push the market forward.
