Yeah, the deal was backloaded. He only made 10MM this year but then it goes up to 25 and 35, with a 5MM buyout on a 30MM club option.

So the trade value right now is negative, meaning they would have to eat money to get anything of note.

These days, with the chat link going out in the Opener, I think Steve looks at them throughout the day and thinks about his answers before launching into it. But he's usually covering the news as well, so it would depend how busy he is with writing up waiver claims or signings or whatever.
