Doubt Machado, though technically, they can afford anyone. They have zero dollars on the books after 2019. They theoretically have the money to sign both Harper and Machado if they want. They will not, of course, but I say that as a means of illustrating how wide-open the books are there.

I think Corbin is more plausible than either Tim or Jeff seemed to. Grandal would fit, though they'd probably want to move Castro's money, then. Ottavino, Familia, etc. would all be fine speculative picks. I do think they'll go for a reliever. Marwin Gonzalez would fit very nicely given all the uncertainties around the infield. And as suggested earlier, Nellie Cruz makes some sense.
