Obviously.

Wouldn’t Gregorius and Springer solve much of the Cardinals offensive woes and make for a heck of a defense by shifting DeJung to 3rd?
Steve Adams
3:22
The same Cardinals that aren't sure they can offer Molina a two-year deal, aren't sure they can outbid the field for Wainwright on a one-year deal, and weren't willing to pay Kolten Wong $12MM ... are going to sign George Springer for $100MM+ and sign Didi Gregorius?
3:23
I cannot fathom any scenario where that happens.

Would Lindor take an extension that's essentially the same as the Mookie extension?
Steve Adams
3:23
I'd assume so, yes.

Are the Cubs really looking to trade Darvish now, or just putting out feelers to gauge the July trade market?
Steve Adams
3:24
Probably just a matter of due diligence, but if Ricketts isn't going to spend any money to improve the current roster, there's a decent argument to be made that shopping Darvish now when his trade value is at or near its apex is sensible.

Think the Mets and Cleveland could line up on Alonso plus a young shortstop for Lindor and Carrasco?
Steve Adams
3:26
There'd need to be other pieces put together, but I don't think it's an outlandish framework to say Alonso/Gimenez as the starting point for Lindor/Carrasco. The Carrasco deal is pretty nice, though; I have to think he'd be among the more coveted arms on the market if Cleveland truly shopped him.

Bauer signs with the Twins to avoid having to face Max Kepler (oh and a poke at Cleveland)
Steve Adams
3:27
Bauer's breakdown on his YouTube channel of Kepler's five consecutive homers against him is such a good video.
I don't find Bauer or anyone to be a completely insane fit in Minnesota, as I do think they have some money to spend, but they probably wouldn't be able to do much else beyond that. And I'm assuming it'd be likelier were he to go the one-year deal route than were he to aim to max out on a multi-year pact.

What is the best thing you’ve ever seen live on a baseball field?
Steve Adams
3:30
I was at that absolutely bonkers insane Game 163 between the Twins and Tigers in 2009 at the Metrodome. To this day that is the single most surreal game and atmosphere I've ever seen. It was utter pandemonium, and I don't know that anyone who was inside that silly dome that day will ever fully recover their hearing.

Shouldn't the Jays be focused on a 3B instead of all this smoke on DJ and various starting pitchers?
Steve Adams
3:31
They believe Cavan Biggio can play pretty much anywhere, including 3B.
3:34
Ok, I'm at about 90 minutes here in this chat and still need to get some other projects done for the day, so I'm going to wrap this up. Sorry for all the questions I didn't get to, but we crossed 2000 participants quite awhile ago, so I took as many as I could. Feel free to shoot me more on Twitter @Adams_Steve.

Thanks for chatting! Hope everyone is able to have a safe and happy holiday with their families. Take care
