When am i gonna sign with the Royals already?
Steve Adams

Eh, I kind of think they view Hosmer as an exception, and if it's not him, they'll just give 1B to Cuthbert/Dozier. I like the Rockies as a fit if you're looking at a 1B, and I think the Twins make some sense as a DH/1B option to add some (more) power to the lineup. Red Sox could still go there if they somehow miss on JDM and just jettison Hanley. Rangers to an extent. There are places it'd work -- especially if his price ends up something reasonable over two years.

With all the questions you say are submitted I think you could do a better job of picking which to answer and which to not answer. You answer the same insipid questions from the same insipid morons every week

And yet you attend.

Realmuto or Abreu a better option for the Rox?
Steve Adams
5:00
Realmuto is cheaper, has more control and plays the more scarce position. But if the Marlins really have no desire to move him, none of that matters much.

It'd be a huge boost to the Rox, though.

Hoskins or Bellinger?
Steve Adams
5:01
Bellinger. He's done it over a larger sample and has shown more in the OF. Nothing against Hoskins, mind you.

What's my fallback option to fill out the rotation if Yu signs elsewhere?

Cobb?

Grichuk a fit for SF and what do they have to offer if he is?
Steve Adams
5:02
I like the fit since he can handle CF well enough, would add power and not send them soaring over the luxury barrier, yeah. I don't think he'll cost all that much. He's looking at 4th OF duties behind Fowler, Pham and Ozuna.

Who will be the next pitcher with 300 wins?
Steve Adams
5:03
There won't be another one.
Not with the way pitchers are used in today's game.

Kershaw
Steve Adams
5:04
He's 156 wins shy, turns 30 in March, and has missed parts of the past two seasons with back injuries. Kershaw is amazing, but I'm not going to pick him to average 15-16 wins per year over the next decade.

Ok, I stuck around a bit longer to make up for the interruptions but I've got to wrap up. You can ask me more questions (or shout at me for not selecting your question in a chat of 1500 participants) on Twitter: @Adams_Steve
Jason chats tomorrow night at 6:30 CT. Jeff Thursday 2pm CT.
