There are like 2900 people here submitting questions now and I have a backlog of literally thousands, haha, I'm good -- but feel free to keep submitting new ones.
probably not thousandS ... but maybe like 1k-ish? Not everyone who reads lobs questions! Back to the log, ha

Who is the Nats 3rd outfielder?
Steve Adams
3:30
Eddie Rosario, David Dahl, Adam Duvall .. one of the non-tendered guys would work there. I don't think they're going to spend to pay Ozuna, and Brantley might be too costly if they also want to add a fourth SP, which I expect.

What could the pirates get back in a sea for Adam Frazier?
Steve Adams
3:30
The second base market is flooded with FAs as it is, and he had a pretty rough 2020. I don't think there's much trade value there.

Who gets a higher AAV, Bauer or Realmuto?
Steve Adams
3:30
Bauer
James Taillon
3:31
What would a package from Boston look like for 2 years of my services?
Steve Adams
3:32
I just don't see this as the time that the Pirates would move him. His value can only go up as he gets back to the mound.
Jamison
3:32
Chris Archer to the Nats?
Steve Adams
3:32
Logical enough fit for a low-cost rotation gamble, sure.
Puig
3:33
Do I return to the MLB? If so, am I getting a >1 year deal?
Steve Adams
3:34
He couldn't get multi-year offers last winter. He's not getting one this time around unless it's at a super cheap AAV, which Puig probably wouldn't want. It's in his best interest to try to go out and rake for a year.

How can they not find a trade partner for a 26 yr old OF who can play CF, has made an All-star team, lifetime .820 OPS and only costs $2.5million with 3 yrs control?
Steve Adams
3:35
This is in reference to David Dahl, and my answer is a resounding: I have no earthly idea.
Dahl and Bradley were the two most surprising non-tenders to me.
Orioles
3:36
Do they have anything left to trade to get any substantial young value in return?
Steve Adams
3:38
If Mancini makes a comeback, he'd have value, though maybe not the best optics to be shopping a guy amid his return from major cancer surgery. John Means would have value... Pedro Severino a little bit perhaps.

Yadi and Waino sign team friendly deals to help Cards make a few other moves?
Steve Adams
3:39
If that were going to happen it would've happened already.
The most common question I'm seeing here is basically framed as this:
3:41
"Would [team] be able to get Blake Snell for [combination of prospects outside team's top three plus Major Leaguers not believed to be part of team's core]"

The answer to which is universally, no. As a general rule, if you're trying to put together a trade package for Blake Snell, think of the one player you absolutely don't want your team to trade.

Put him in there as the headliner, and then add multiple other pieces around it. If looking at the trade package makes you think, "I would be pretty annoyed if they did this," you might have a decent framework for a deal, haha.

Ok, I know there are buckets of questions I didn't get to. Sorry for that. I'm off next week because -- woohoo! -- I'm getting married on Saturday, but I'll try for another chat the following week. Mark will chat this coming Sunday, and as he'll be filling in for me next Tuesday, I'll tell him to run another chat that day if he can swing it. We'll have a Friday chat for Trade Rumors Front Office subscribers, with Connor hosting that one:

Have a great week everyone!
