Im so angry at this 3 batter minimum for relievers crap.  Way to take out the Strategic part of the game MLB!!  Absolutley disgusted.  Agree or disagree?

Look around baseball; how many LOOGYs even exist anymore? I think it has minimal impact on strategy.

This isn't a knock on you, specifically, since I don't know your overall views. But broadly speaking, I find that proponents who lament the loss of "traditional" strategy (LOOGYs, sacrifice bunting, and the potential for a DH in the NL) are also more likely to bemoan the more modern iterations of strategy: defensive shifts, openers, etc.

It seems the anger is less about the lack of strategy but more in regard to the general changing of the way the game is played. My response to that is that it's never realistic to expect the way a game is played to remain static -- not when hundreds of millions of dollars are on the line as every team looks for edges and advantages.

I'd argue that there's as much strategy in the game as ever -- perhaps more -- it's just not the same type of strategy we were used to 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago

Things are good here. There's just a lot of annoying news in baseball right now between the Astros scandal, unnecessary playoff changes, the Red Sox scandal, Red Sox/Cubs owners spewing BS to the masses ... actual games can't get here soon enough!
