Do you think Falvey and Levine will sign enough starting pitching in the offseason to field a contender next year? Seems like that route would be preferable to trading one of Larnach or Kiriloff, and the depth those guys add has been huge for the team.

I don't think the Twins would need to trade Larnach or Kirilloff to get a SP upgrade on the market. This front office basically just bought Odorizzi from the Rays a few years back, after all.

They'll have Maeda and Berrios, barring trades, and then they probably look to add a couple more solid SPs while hoping some combo of Bailey Ober, Jordan Balazovic, Jhoan Duran, Matt Canterino, etc. step up. (Duran's injury is a notable hit to their depth)
