Yeah he's raked, especially of late. I think he should spend more time at DH than at first base, and I'm skeptical he can keep this up against lefties, but hard to overstate how good he's been.

Won't the draft pick compensation hurt free agents like Edwin Diaz and Contreras among others?

Diaz is probably the best reliever in baseball; the draft picks tend to hurt the borderline guys more than the stars.

Contreras isn't the best catcher in MLB, but he's up there and will have no shortage of interest.
